Full Time Remote/Hybrid Salesperson
Cool for School Photo is looking for a smart, friendly salesperson interested in driving new business growth by establishing and maintaining partnerships with public, private, and charter schools (pre-k through high school) in the tri-state area. Qualified candidates will have a pleasant, professional manner as well as enthusiasm for making numerous daily phone calls, follow-up calls, emails, and meetings with school administration and PTA members to offer them our amazing photography services. Every interaction and sale must be rooted in our core value of delivering a fun, easy, and high-integrity experience for schools, students, and families.
If you are the organized team player we are looking for, you will receive paid training, sales coaching, scripts, marketing materials, and continuing education to equip you for success. Compensation will include a $40,000-50,000 annual salary combined with a thoughtful and generous commission plan.
Responsibilities
Actively prospect, qualify, and close new school accounts within a defined territory.
Communicate the value proposition of a hassle-free process to school leadership and PTAs.
Clearly articulate how we deliver a superior, personality-capturing product for families.
Manage sales pipeline from initial contact through contract signing, ensuring all communications are handled with integrity and transparency.
Achieve monthly and annual sales targets (KPIs) focused on acquiring new school contracts.
Provide a seamless handover to the operations team to ensure the "easy & fun" client experience is delivered flawlessly post-sale.
Understand the pain points of school administrators and tailor solutions that meet their needs.
Approach challenging processes with a positive and instructional attitude, making the sales experience enjoyable for clients.
Requirements
Willingness and ability to travel around the tri-state area (NY, NJ, CT) to visit schools
Reliable phone/computer/internet and a dedicated workspace, free of distractions
Possess the highest degree of thoughtfulness, diligence and integrity
Become an expert on our services
Be administratively and organizationally excellent (especially within our database)
Ability to listen deeply and respond as needed
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a high degree of comfort presenting to school boards or administrative staff.
Preferences
· Prior experience communicating effectively with school leadership and PTA membership
· Prior sales experience and proficiency with databases (especially CRMs)
